The association promotes the exchange between retailers and service providers in order to sustainably support digital as well as stationary trade and to align it for the future. By representing interests throughout Europe and bundling various services, the Händlerbund actively shapes the industry with its members and partners.
In addition to legal texts that are safe from warnings, the services include a customer rating system for online stores and the "Käufersiegel" seal of approval. As the German representative, the Händlerbund is involved in the umbrella organization Ecommerce Europe and informs its members about planned European legislation as well as tips and regulations on cross-border trade.
